Liebig34

Liebig34 was one of Berlin’s last remaining anarchist squats, located in Friedrichshain. In October 2020, after years of legal battles, the building was evicted in a massive police operation involving over 1,500 officers.

This series documents the final days around the eviction — the barricades, the protests, the riot police, and the community that fought to preserve a space that represented decades of counter-culture and resistance in Berlin’s rapidly gentrifying landscape.
