Out of Con(e)trol
[Story]
New Zealand has one of the highest per-capita rates of traffic cones in the world. This series documents the omnipresent orange cone — found on highways, side streets, construction sites, and places where no construction seems to exist at all.
A playful yet pointed look at infrastructure, bureaucracy, and the absurdity of urban planning. The cones become characters in their own right — standing guard, toppled over, clustered together, or utterly alone in vast empty spaces.
